Late season report for WG2XXM by VK2DDI

– Posted in: 630 Meter Daily Reports, 630 Meters

Ken, K5DNL / WG2XXM, had a late season report on VK2DDI’s Berry Mountain Grabber and WSPR receiver.  It was a single ping but as shown on waterfall, the signal level was significant.  Ken typically runs 50% TX cycle so its interesting that the opening was so brief, only resulting in a single report.  David checked his screen shots and did not find any addition signals on the frequency that Ken is operating on but he did find a report near where Larry, W7IUV / WH2XGP, has been operating.  Screen shots below:

WG2XXM’s signal as reported by VK2DDI at 0946z. The smudge seems to become more defined near the end of the 2-minute cycle.

1136z mystery station XGP

Is that WH2XGP at 1136z near 475.686 kHz?
