As conditions were beginning to improve, the geomagnetic field sustained another hit and the K-index sky-rocketed.

Conditions should begin to improve again within the next 24-hours and its possible we might see some enhancements if we are not too overwhelmed with absorption.

Over the past 24-hours, activity was very high.  Unfortunately due to some large-scale pollution of the map from operator making erroneous band selections in the software,  the 24-hour activity map does not reflect a accurate, clear picture.

There was no Trans-Atlantic activity to report for the period.  Eden, ZF1EJ, was hearing well overnight with some very nice CW QSO level reports.

In the Pacific Northwest, Larry, WH2XGP, has a very late season report with VK3ELV.

In the Pacific, Merv, WH2XCR, reports that the path toward mainland US was somewhat muted compared to previous sessions while the path to VK and JA was quite active, in many cases the best seen yet.
