Participation was strong with conditions still showing some positive momentum.
Propagation was at CW levels for at least a portion of the session as WG2XJM and WH2XZO complete a CW QSO. This was Doug’s first QSO on 630-meters. Doug indicates that the QSO was easy in spite of the QRN. He gave Eric a RST 569 and Eric returned with a RST 549. Congrats on the first QSO! I look forward to getting a round-table together soon!
In the east, VE1VDM, W1TAG/1 and WD2XSH/17 were able to report European stations during the session.
In the Caribbean, Eden, ZF1EJ, is hearing a number of stations very well.
In the Pacific Northwest, VE7BDQ is hearing WE2XPQ.
In the Pacific, WH2XCR is reporting a number of stations, including VK3ELV.
While no JA reports were made outside of Japan during this session, there is a tremendous amount of activity all over Japan. Hopefully some of the Merv’s or Laurence’s work will pay off soon in hearing or being heard again in Asia.
